Next-Gen Multiplex Allergy Testing with MADx
ALPCO has partnered with MacroArray Diagnostics, MADx, to offer a comprehensive testing solution for IgE-based allergies. MADx’s multiplex allergy test incorporates allergens covering 99% of globally relevant allergens, including pollen, pet allergens, dust mites, insect venom, foods, and more. The ALLERGY XPLORER (ALEX2) enables screening for sensitization to 300 different allergen components using just 200 to 400 µL of serum, heparin plasma, or sodium citrate plasma in a single test. Incorporation of 183 molecular allergens helps to identify both specific allergies and the potential for reactivity to common components within an allergen ‘family’. A high percentage of recombinant molecular allergens and powerful blocking agents reduce non-specific IgE antibody binding to ensure accurate allergen testing results.
