Food Intolerance Testing with MADx

allergy-systems ALPCO has partnered with MacroArray Diagnostics, MADx, to offer a comprehensive testing solution for IgG-based food intolerances. MADx’ multiplex food test offers a complete repertoire of relevant food antigens, including dairy, nuts, fruits/vegetables, spices and also superfoods such as aloe, chlorella, and guarana. The FOOD XPLORER (FOX) test requires only 12µL of serum or plasma for detection of elevated levels of specific IgG antibodies to 286 different food antigens. The MADx test detects IgG antibodies from all four subclasses, including immune-activating IgG1 and IgG3 antibodies, immune modulating IgG2 antibodies, and immune blocking IgG4 antibodies. It is important to note that acute IgE-mediated allergic response and IgG-mediated immune response are completely independent mechanisms, each requiring independent testing. Though IgG antibodies can be elevated in cases of both tolerance and intolerance, IgG screening can be a useful tool for the identification of specific targets for food elimination diets.1 All products are for Research Use Only in North America.
