Mouse / Rat Growth Hormone ELISA
Mouse / Rat Growth Hormone ELISA is intended to be used for the measurement of Growth Hormone in mouse and rat serum and plasma samples for research use.
- Includes standards and controls
- Requires only 3 hours of incubation time
- Small sample size: 10 µL of sample per well
For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Growth hormone polypeptide secreted by the anterior pituitary in animals including humans, mice, and rats1. Receptors for growth hormone are found throughout vertebrates such as on adipose tissue, muscle, and the liver. The hormone has many functions in rats and mice including helping to maintain carbohydrate and lipid homeostasis and control growth1.
Research area interestes includes growth defiencies, Endocrine System Disruptors (ESDs), metabolic disorders and diseases, and diabetes
